Obituary for Grace M. Allen
Grace M. Allen, 82, of West Peoria passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her residence.
She was born October 12, 1940, in Quincy to Edward and Pauline Marie Settles Copeland. Her parents; one daughter; one son; one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons; two daughters; one sister; one brother and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Grace attended Quincy High School and was a truck driver for J.B. Hunt, retiring in 2004.
She was a member of East Side Church in East Peoria.
She loved her family and pets. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, playing Bingo and she was 420 Friendly.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
Memorials may be made to her granddaughter, Holly Lindsey, to assist with arrangements.
