Obituary for Grace Ziegenhagen
Grace Alberta Ziegenhagen 88, of Pekin passed away Sunday November 7, 2010 at Pekin Manor. She was born January 18, 1922 in Pekin, IL. She married Robert Joe Ziegenhagen November 1, 1952 in Pekin, he preceded her in death April 8, 2007. She is also preceded in death by her biological parents; Ernest and Alberta Bellville Williams and her adopted parents; John and Ada Williams McCabe, siblings; Ernest Williams, Jr., Nellie Williams, Alice Owens and Ada Norton. She is survived by her lifelong friend and caregiver; Linda Nicot of Peoria. She was an executive secretary for Keystone retiring in 1973. Grace was a member of First Baptist Church of Peoria, Peoria Orchid Society, National Secretaries Association, Sea Scribes and Proctor Hospital Service League. Per her wishes she has donated her body to Medical Science. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a local animal shelter.
