Obituary for Harold Jr. Kohl
Harold Kohl, Jr., 76, of East Peoria passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 5, 1939 in Peoria to Harold and Ruby Brown Kohl, Sr. He married Joy McManus January 16, 1965 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his son, Harold William Kohl; sisters, Josephine (Forrest) Johnson of Peoria, Eva (Lloyd) Yocum of Bartonville; brother, Albert (Jean) Kohl of Peoria Heights and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by is parents and brother, Frank Kohl. Harold served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Pabst Brewing Company in Peoria Heights for 20 years and was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and was an animal lover. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Bartonville. Memorials may be made to TAPS in his name.
