Obituary for Helena Cash
Helena L. Cash 94, of Pekin passed away on Thursday December 3, 2009 at Morton Terrace Nursing Home. Born in Beaverville, IL to Joseph and Esma Fortin Dionne on March 31, 1915. She married Fred Cash on November 14, 1936. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1995. Also proceeding were her 8 brothers and 8 sisters. She is survived by her children Ruth Ann Watson of Biloxi, MI and Patrick Cash of Springfield, MO, sister, Sister Myra Dionne of Chicago and her 4 grand and 8 great grandchildren. Helena was a Homemaker and worked for Catholic Social Services for 11 years. She was a member of the Ladies of Columbus, the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church where a Funeral mass will be held on Monday December 7, at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service also at the church. Father at Fixsen will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made to T.A.P.S. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
