Obituary for Henry Tipton
Henry J. Tipton Jr. 75, of Peoria passed away Friday October 28, 2011 at Morton Terrace. He was born September 21, 1936 in Greenview, IL to Henry J. and Thresa M. Lagier Tipton Sr. He married Julia A. Cage June 19, 1954 in Peoria. She survives along with his three sons, Timothy (Sheri) Tipton, Steven (Cheryl) Tipton, Henry (Debbie) Tipton Jr. and daughter, Roberta (Bill) Magnus. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, five sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, one granddaughter and one daughter-in-law. Henry worked as a produce manager for Krogers retiring in 1991. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 5, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Peoria.
