Obituary for Jack N. Glatz
Jack N. Glatz, 80, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2009 at his residence in Dunlap. Born in Springfield on September 16, 1928 to August and Myrtle Cullers Glatz. He married Carol Oakley in Springfield on August 28, 1949. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2009. Also preceding were his parents, 1 brother and a grandson. Jack is survived by his children; Jack (Sandy) Glatz Jr. of Lincoln, David (Peggy) Glatz of Canton, Linda (Edward) Ripka of Sr. Charles, MO, brother Robert of Springfield, sister Sue (John) Fisher of Broken Arrow, OK and his 5 grand and 3 great grandchildren. He worked as a Food Broker for Glatz Brothers, retiring in 1985 and was a member of Mason Consistory Mohammed Shrine Royal Order of Jesters CT 40. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or to the Fire and Rescue in Dunlap. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
