Obituary for James F Fulk
James “Jim” Francis Fulk 88, of Toulon passed away on Dec 8th 2016 at St. Lukes in Kewanee. Born in Bradford, IL to John and Iva Mae Ames Fulk on Oct 23, 1928. He married Marilyn Louise Libby, she preceded him in death along with his parents, five brothers, three sisters and his son Rodney Fulk. He is survived by his children Donald (Connie) Fulk of Princeville, IL, Tammy (Jack) Gallant of Medford, OK, 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Jim served in the Army and was a Teamster out of Local 743, retiring in 1987 and a lifetime member of VFW Post 4999. Jim was a lifetime Cubs fan and was grateful to see them finally Win the World Series this year. When he was at home he took pleasure in listening to his vast music collection while working his puzzles and he often enjoyed his trips into town for a cold drink among his friends. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to the Monica Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
