Obituary for James Happach
James Richard Happach 76, of Bartonville, IL passed away Monday August 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 20, 1935 in Peoria, IL to Bernerd M. and Mildred A. Holliger Happach. He married Lois Anna Lee Guthrie May 23, 1959. She survives along with his children, Rebecca (Jeff) Happach Loudenburg of Bradford, IL, Steven Happach of Creve Coeur, IL, Diane (Allen) Happach Peacock of Bartonville, IL, Michael Happach of Bartonville, IL, and grandchildren, Samantha Peacock, Alexander Peacock and Jessica Loudenburg. He is also survived by his 2 brothers, Ben Happach of Columbia, SC, Ron Happach of Sheffield, IL and sister, Sandy Lewis of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents. James attended St. Mark’s grade school and graduated from Spalding High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Keystone Steel and Wire Co. for 33 years retiring December 31, 1995. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He attended Faith Missionary Church 1825 S. Airport Road, Bartonville, IL where a Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 10, 2011 at 11 am. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or Faith Missionary Church.
