Obituary for James Schlipf
James A. Schlipf 75, of Eureka passed away on Monday October 10, 2011 at his home. Born in Metamora on November 26, 1935 to Ezra and Velda Unsicker Schlipf. He married Lena Grace Meyers on March 22, 1974 in Canton. She survives along with his children; Pamela Reinhold and Donald Schlipf both of Washington, Kelly Shaffer of Missouri, Brian Schlipf of Bodfish, CA, and Step-daughter Penny Ann Salemi of New Smyrna Beach, FL, sisters Betty (Larry) Bauman and Mary Jane (Dean) Wettstein both of Eureka and his 7 grand and 3 great grandchildren. His parents and step-son Richard L. Black Jr. preceded him in death. James worked as a Mechanic for Altorfer Inc, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the Tucker Club and loved refurbishing his old tractors and farming. Cremation has been accorded and private graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Morton.
