Obituary for Jane Marie Linman
Jane Marie Linman, 60, of Peoria Ill., passed away quietly Friday, March 11, 2016, after a fierce battle with brain cancer and its complications. She was surrounded by friends and loved ones at OSF Saint Francis Hospital at the time of her passing.

She was born in Chicago on January 17, 1956, and raised in the Monmouth, Ill., area by her loving parents, Robert Linman and Evelyn (Goddard) Linman.

Jane is survived by her two children, Franklin and Nicolle Hood, stepson Michael Crebo and wife Cheri,

fiancé

and life partner of 23 years Randy Crebo, grandchildren Ava Crebo and Andrew Becker, and many other relatives and close friends. She was preceded to heaven by her parents and brother Don.

She was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and was always optimistic. For her, there was always the next year. She rarely missed a game whether it was on TV, the radio, or sitting in the stands at Wrigley Field.

Jane was a lover of music and she proudly sang with Morton Civic Chorus and Grace Family Christmas Singers for many years, as well as multiple other choirs.

In addition to her hobbies of cooking, reading, and gardening, you could always find her decorating the house for an upcoming holiday. In her youth, she enjoyed raising blue-ribbon-winning cattle and swine.

Jane was a very proud manager and member of her H&R Block family for 28 years. There, she provided the highest level of service to her client family, which also extended to her real estate career with Maloof Realty alongside business partner David Castle.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, March 18, 2016, at Five Points Washington, 360 N. Wilmor Road, Washington, IL, 61571. The celebration will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. with a formal program beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Always thinking of other people, Jane asked that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in her name to the Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund, P.O. Box 235, Morton, IL 61550 or online at

http://cimfk.org/

. For those who prefer to send flowers, please send to 502 W. Detweiller Dr., Peoria, IL 61615.
