Obituary for Jeanne Noetzel
Jeanne Charlotte Noetzel, 93, of Peoria passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Proctor in Peoria. She was born December 12, 1922 in Chicago to Lawrence Carl and Edna Pauline Brunell Anderson. She married Henry Dennis Noetzel; he survives. She is also survived by her four children, Lauren (Ulrich), Rick (Rita Roach), Jonathan (Debbie Glatz), Timothy; thirteen grandchildren, Kristen Ulrich (Lyle Erickson), Kim Ulrich (Paul Duda), Andy Noetzel (Jeni Wehage), Mike Noetzel, Lacy Noetzel (Adrin Smith), Brittany Noetzel (Daniel Hall), Jared Noetzel, Britta Noetzel, Ben Noetzel, Bjorn Noetzel, Christianna Noetzel (Andrew Whitaker), Joshua Noetzel, Annika Noetzel; and eight great-grandchildren, Oscar Erickson, Linus Erickson, Gabriel Smith, Jedediah Smith, Emmalynn Smith, Eleanor Duda, Vivian Whitaker and Nathan Noetzel. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Carl Anderson (1898-1979); mother, Edna Pauline Brunell (Anderson) (1899-1995) sister, Marjorie Lou Anderson (1925-1969) and daughter in law, Becky Olson (Noetzel) (1953-1997). Jeanne was a member of Peoria Players, Corn Stock Theater and long time member at United Presbyterian Church and volunteer at Methodist Hospital Service League. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at United Presbyterian Church in Peoria on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the church. Memorials may be made to the church in her name.
