Obituary for Jeffrey Bruen
Jeffrey Scott Bruen 41, Pekin passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at his home. Born in Pekin to Gregory and Glenna Beard Bruen on February 9, 1975. He is survived by his parents, sister Tiffany Bruen, and brother Anthony Bruen all of Pekin. His grandparents preceded him in death. Jeff worked as a custodian at Timber Creek Convalescent Home and loved working on electronics, computers and loved watching movies. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday July 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Fr. Anthony Mutio will officiate. Visitation will be at Abts Mortuary on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
