Obituary for Jerry A. Delicath
Jerry Allan Delicath 79, of Peoria passed away on Thursday October 15, 2009 at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon. Born in Peoria on October 28, 1929 to Frederich and Mable Poshard Delicath. He married Sylvia Jean Olin in Peoria on December 31, 1948. She survives along with his sons; Randy Michael of Peoria and Mark William (Sue) of East Peoria, daughter Mary Susan (Ross Durbala) Delicath of Peoria, grandchildren: Katrina, Stephen, Joshua, Samuel, Alexander and Jonathon. Two great grandchildren also survive. His granddaughter Laurie preceded him in death. Jerry worked at Komatsu and retired in October of 1992. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
