Obituary for Jerry K Vogel
Jerry K. Vogel 78, of Peoria - loving husband, father and grandpa, passed away peacefully February 13, 2013 at Heartland Manor Care in Peoria. He was born May 26, 1934 in Peoria, IL to Clarence and Kathryn (Memmen) Vogel. He married Mickey L. Clements September 5, 1953. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, his children Steven (Brenda) Vogel of Pekin, IL, David (Sheila) Vogel of Elgin, IL and Mary Ann Venardi of Boynton Beach, FL. He was very proud of his grandchildren, Katy and Sarah of Elgin, IL, Jeremy and Joshua of Pekin, IL, and Scott Hudson of Morton, IL. Also surviving are his sister Nancy (Bill) Marlott of Bartonville and brother Bill Vogel of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Phyllis (Earl) Ryan, and brothers Don (Carol) and Bob (Helen). He was a proud member of Steamfitters Local 353 for 44 years.
In accordance with Jerry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
