Obituary for Joan Wilson
Joan A. Wilson 69, of Peoria passed away at 6:25pm on Monday October 11, 2010 at home with family and friends. She was born in Easton, IL to Clarence and Lula Vaughn on December 27, 1940. She married Gene Wilson on September 8, 1956. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2002. She is survived by 7 children; David, Jack, Carol, Dennis, Larry, Rodney and Sheila. She had 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters, 2 brothers and very dear friends Candy and Bridgette. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, 3 sisters and 1 brother. She retired as a server in 2004 after working 35 years in the restaurant business. Cremation has been accorded and family services will be held at a later date.
