Obituary for John Comisky
John E. Comisky, 67, of Pekin passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 28, 1951 in Peoria to Willard James and Margaret Mary Kelly Comisky; his parents and sister, Peggy Comisky preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Jim (Anita) Comisky; sisters, Anne Klein, Susan (Michel) Benistant and nieces and nephews, Christina, William, Vincent, Milissa, Jennifer, Raymond, Sarah, Kelly, Fabien and Isabelle. John started in 1971 as a Pekin Police Dispatcher and continued his career as a Pekin Police Officer for 28 years and 8 years with the Tazewell County Justice Center. He was a member of the Pekin Moose Lodge and Pekin Boat Club. John had a great sense of humor and a real love for life. He was devoted to his family and he will be greatly missed. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September7, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pekin Boat Club. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in his name.
