Obituary for John Dillahay
John E. Dillahay, 49, of Canton, IL passed away Thursday March 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN. He married Lori L. Steagall July 25, 2009 in Cuba, IL. She survives along with his children, Zachary Dillahay of Indianapolis, IN, Cheyenne of Indianapolis, IN, Justin Dillahay of Indianapolis, IN, Jacob Dillahay of Indianapolis, IN; step-daughters, Brittany Matlock of Canton, IL, Cassie Shockency of Astoria, IL and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Joice) Dillaha of North Carolina, Don Dillahay of Indiana; sisters, Paula (Ronnie) Meadors of Indiana, Tammy Dillahay of Indiana and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a cabinet maker. Cremation has been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date.
