Obituary for John Gass
John Henry Gass, 54, of Pekin passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1961 in Peoria to Henry and Bettie Snoke Gass. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his son, Ian Lee (Whitney Blair Vanduker) Gass; grandchildren, Dax, Sage, Elena; mother and step-father, Bettie and Everett Copeland; siblings, Debbie (Pat) Murphy, Joni (Scott) Andrews, Mel (Donna) Gass, Sandy (Fred) Garfield; step-sisters, Linett (Mike) Sturch, Melanie Berman and numerous nieces and nephews. John served in the U.S. Army. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the UAW 444 S. Parkway Drive in Pekin. Memorials may be made to Miller Senior Center in his name.
