John M Porter (Brillo); 64 years of age from Farmington IL, the blight of cancer took his life too soon. Father, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, friend; Husband, mentor or ordinary hero; By which of life's titles you knew him, love was the connection to him. Survived by his son, Joshua; his Ex-Wife Debi; Five sisters and brother, Terri, Donna, Dianne, Jamie & Jerry; an Aunt, Betty; Nieces and Nephews and many, many friends. Diagnosed with terminal cancer of the lungs and the lymph October 2016, John's light was extinguished Saturday March 18 2017 at approximately 1:30 am. Private services and celebration of life will be held at Township park in Farmington, date TBA. We encourage you to make donations of time or currency to your local hospice, But would like to express our gratitude to both Compassus of Peoria & Graham of Canton as well as everyone else involved, Thank you!
