Kay F. Budds, 79, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Carle Health Pekin.
She was born December 16, 1944, in Henderson, TN to Major Bruce and Vera Mae Johnson Tucker. Her parents; sister, Doris Graves; brother-in-law, Roy Ross and sister-in-law, Dora Tucker preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Lori L. (James F.) Dinquel, Dana (Noelle) Dagit; grandchildren, Lucas (Karen Dringenberg) Dinquel, Bryan (Carole) Dinquel, Ryan (Katie Bernal) Dagit; great-grandchild, Connor Dinquel; devoted companion, Everett Edenburn; his children, Andrew Edenburn, Jared Edenburn; siblings, Ima Sue Ross, Barbara Ann Faichney, Wendell E. Tucker; brother-in-law, Bill J. Graves and many nieces and nephews.
Kay graduated from Pekin Community High School and worked in the office at Kmart, retiring in 2004.
She loved everyone and she was a true friend to many, especially the Kmart and UAW Highrise crowd.
Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
