Obituary for Kenneth Palm
Kenneth Palm, 74, of Pekin passed away Sunday September 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1938 in Peoria to Francis and Ruth Stewart Palm. He married Patricia Stone December 31, 1960 in Peoria. She preceded him in death December 24, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his father, Francis Palm; mother, Ruth McClean and sister, Joann Orr. He is survived by his two daughters, Debra (Patrick) Fitzanko and Tina Palm both of Pekin; three sons, Ralph Patrick Garman, Kenneth “Eddie” Palm and Francis “Frankie” Palm all of Pekin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Kenneth was an independent distributor for Coke and later for Little Debbie. He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Pekin. He loved his family and grandchildren very much. He knew no stranger; he was a very outgoing person that was also very pleasant to be around. He enjoyed going to the Riverboat and OTB. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin Saturday September 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service.
