Obituary for Larry Manning
Larry W. Manning, 66, of Peoria Heights passed away Wednesday December 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 14, 1945 in Hickman, TN to Eva M. Gentry. He married Tracy Chase October 23, 1980 in Peoria. She survives along with his children, Michael, Josh, Christopher, Matthew and Tanya. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Alicia who he helped raise, and grandchildren, Kate, Taylor, Kelsey, Christopher, Kristin, Landon and brothers, Ronnie (Carla) Manning of Peoria, Melvyn (Shirley) Gentry of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and infant sister. Larry served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an Ironworker for Local 112 in East Peoria. He loved hunting and fishing. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Illinois CancerCare Foundation 8940 N. Wood Sage Road, Peoria, IL 61615.
