Obituary for Lonnie Ray Schwindenhammer
Lonnie Ray Schwindenhammer of Bartonville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home. He was born October 17, 1963 in Peoria son of Gerald (Judd) and Nancy Schwindenhammer. He married Jacqueline R. Linehan June 16, 2001; she survives along with his children, Sara (who brightened her dads day by being born on his birthday) and Conrad both of Indiana, also surviving are his parents; brother, Gary (Shannon) all of Bartonville. Lonnie was preceded in death by two sets of grandparents and one uncle. Lonnie worked in the insurance claims area for several years before turning to his love of attending and writing about sporting events. He was a sports writer for the Peoria Journal Star for many years. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Lonnie was an organ donor.
