Obituary for Lorraine C Ercegovich
Lorraine Carmen Ercegovich 81, of Pekin passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Pekin Manor. Born in Pekin on March 15, 1931 to Louis and Lorraine Pamson Aimone. She married John J. Ercegovich on January 23, 1971, he preceded her in death on January 28, 2008. Her parents and 5 brothers also preceded her in death. Lorraine is survived by her step-sons, Edward (Dee) Ercegovich of Bettendorf, IA, Joseph (Audrey) Ercegovich of Sun City Center, FL, 5 step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her sister Mary Jane Abel of Pekin. Lorraine graduated from the Academy of Our Lady High School in Peoria, was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where she was very active, including being a member of the Council of Catholic Women and the Resurrection Choir. A funeral mass will be held on Monday August 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. James Pankiewicz will officiate with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be at Abts Mortuary on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made in her name to the St. Joseph Church Stair Fund.
