Obituary for Louise Hoover
Louise Marie Hoover, 96, of Peoria passed away at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on April 13, 1915, in Peoria to John and Louise (Duhs) Toniny. She married Frank A. Hoover on August 15, 1936 in Peoria. He passed away on August 12, 1958, in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mary Jane Hoover; one sister, Gertrude Cox and two brothers, Robert Toniny and John Toniny. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert E. (Norma) Toniny and several nieces and nephews. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at the Bergners store in Sheridan Village. She was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall, 1521 Park Road, Peoria at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday December 17, 2011. Brother Terre Spalding will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of cremains will be held at the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
