Obituary for Louise Kettle
Louise Kettle, 86, of Peoria passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born August 14, 1929 in Blue Mountain, MS to Ivory and Leona Miller Smith. She married Claude Ely Kettle; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Vernon Smith. She is survived by her children, Earl Kettle, Wayne Kettle, Suzan (Randy) Johnston, Michael Kettle; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Louise was affectionately known as “Ma Kettle” and all the neighborhood children wished she was their mother. She had an abundance of love to go around. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
