Obituary for Lucille Ingrassia
Lucille P. Ingrassia 85 of Pekin passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Amy’s Country Manor in Pekin. Born in Sharon, WI on February 10, 1924 to Carl and Mary Militrani Ingrassia. She is survived by her sister Mary (Louis) Barclay of Boise, ID, brother Mario (Betty) Ingrassia of Pekin and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her parents, brother Carmine Grecie and sisters Esther Ranney and Ann Ingrassia preceded her in death. Lucille worked at Keystone Steel and Wire Co. as a Secretary for many years retiring in 1976 and was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order of Sacred Heart Fraternity where she served as Secretary for 7 years, was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Lucille enjoyed helping children all of her life and was known for always handing out candy to all the neighborhood children. In accordance to her wishes there will be no services or visitation and burial will be private. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Joseph Church, Harbor Lights Hospice or St. Jude. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
