Obituary for Luella Cooper
Luella Mae Cooper, 71, of Manito passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Pekin on January 30, 1939 to John and Fanny Rush Peplow. She married Howard Cooper in Pekin on October 25, 1964. He survives along with her children: Robert Cooper, Richard (Tess) Cooper and Ronald (Amy) Cooper all of Manito, Rhonda Cooper of Morton, brother Richard Peplow of Minneapolis, MN, sister Elsie Peplow of Pekin and her 14 grand and 10 great grandchildren. Her parents, 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter, 4 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death. She was a Homemaker. Luella attended the Second Reformed Church, 600 State St. where a memorial service will be held on Saturday March 13, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Bradley Vander Waal will officiate. Cremation has been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
