Obituary for Margaret Budisalich
Margaret (Roseberry) Budisalich 92, of Pekin passed away on Wednesday November 11, 2009 at Pekin Hospital. Born in Lowpoint to Charles and Floy Roseberry on March 12, 1917. A graduate of Carthage, IL High School and Liberty Beauty School in Peoria. She married Otmar Budisalich in Peoria on February 22, 1941. He preceded her in death in April of 2005. Also preceding were her parents, 2 brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughters: Sandy Murphy and Taunya (Dick) Hasselman both of Pekin, granddaughters: Stephanie (Bob) Johnson and Angela (Pat) Flannigan both of Pekin, grandsons: Rick (Miranda) Hasselman of Atlanta, GA, Rob (Kathleen) Hasselman of Philadelphia, PA, great grandchildren: Derek Rademaker, Brad Johnson, Ryan, Jake and Molly Flannigan all of Pekin, Ricky Hasselman of Atlanta, GA and her nieces and nephews: Stephen Budisalich of Pekin, Sally Elmore of Carthage, Vicky Budisalich and Chuck Roseberry both of Arizona. Margaret with her husband ran Otmar’s Liquor Store & Bar on Derby St. for over 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who adored her family as they did their MoMo. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Marge’s life will be on Sunday November 15, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of her daughter Taunya, 2014 Alameda Ct. Pekin. Memorials may be made in her name to the Salvation Army or T.A.P.S. Abts Mortuary has been entrusted with her arrangements.
