Obituary for Marjorie Burton
Marjorie A. Burton (Maggie), 59, of East Peoria died at 1:18 p.m. Friday March 19, 2010 at her home. She was born on September 24, 1950 to Michael and Hazel (Schoppell) Jurinjak in Peoria Illinois. She married Robert T. Burton Sr. on April 24, 1980 in Peoria Illinois. He survives. Surviving are four children Daniel Bailey of Pekin IL, Kelli (Brian) McIntyre of East Peoria IL, Robert Burton Jr. of Texas, and Sherrie (Tony) Corder of Creve Coeur IL. 15 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Two brothers Raymond (Judy) Jurinjak of Missouri, and Richard (Cindy) Jurinjak of Peoria Il. She was preceded in death by her mother ,father, and an infant son Robert Lee Bailey. She has been a Nurse for 10 Years. She loved going camping and on vacations. Her favorite place to vacation at was Hawaii. She loved butterflies and Winnie the Pooh. She loved her flowers in her back yard. And during the summer she was always in her pool. At Maggie’s request there will be no services. Instead the family will receive family and friends at a Celebration of Maggie’s Life to be held Saturday March 27, 2010 from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the Greater Peoria Am vets Post 64 237 N.E. Monroe Peoria Illinois. Memorial in lieu of Flowers may be made to Robert T Burton Sr. at Morton Community Bank.
