Obituary for Marjorie Goodall
Marjorie M. Goodall, 96, of Peoria passed away February 27, 2015 at Bickford Senior Living. She was born on November 7, 1918 in Odin, Illinois to Dwight and Artie (Deadmond) Bundy. She married Wallace C. Goodall at the Odin United Methodist Church in 1935 and spent most of her life in Odin. Wally preceded her in death in October, 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her oldest son, James. Survivors include her son, Ron (Mary Lou) of Bourbonnais and daughter, Joyce Risinger (Dale) of Peoria and daughter-in-law, Margaret Goodall of Erie, Pa. Six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
Marjorie was a wonderful homemaker, wife, Mother, Nannie, gardener, and cook. In her middle years, she began her career with J.C. Penney Co. in Centralia, IL retiring in 1987. She continued to work part-time in retail before moving to Peoria in 2003 to be closer to family. Marjorie was a member of University United Methodist Church. Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Private graveside services will be held in Odin, IL in the summer.
