Obituary for Mark Huls
Mark Elliott Huls, 64, of Pekin, IL passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. He was born July 9, 1950 in Pekin, IL to Robert and Marian Taylor Huls. They preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Steve (Heather) Huls, Scott Huls, Dan (Jenny) Huls, Jennifer (Jeremy) Byrd; ten grandchildren; sister, Vicki (Bob) Klepfer; brother, Walter (Lori) Behrends; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Louis Wilson and his beloved dog, Ty. Mark served in the U.S. Navy and received the National Defense Medal. He worked in Real Estate Management in Crystal Lake, IL. He was a Cub Scout in Marquette Heights, IL as a child and a past member of the Moose. He enjoyed camping and fishing. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or TAPS in his name.
