Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Schoof
Mary Elizabeth Schoof 91, of Peoria passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017 at Buehler Home. Born in Normal, IL on January 28, 1926 to Glen and Flora Mae Filson Caldwell. She married Jake “John” Schoof, he preceded her in death. Also proceeding were her parents, brothers John and Robert “Bob” Caldwell and sisters Rowena Woodard and Alma Clark. She is survived by her son Rick (Nancy) Schoof of Maple Hill, N.C., sister Dorothy Clark of Tonica, IL, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her best friend of 65 years, Jean Hisler of Peoria. Cremation has been accorded and per her wishes no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John L. Schoof Endowment Scholarship fund at Bradley University, 1501 West Bradley Ave. Peoria, IL 61625
