Maverick Christopher Ivey, 20, of Pekin passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home. He was born in Pekin on January 11, 1997 to Russell Towery and Tracie Ivey. He is survived by his significant other, Nicole Daniels of Pekin; mother, Tracie Ivey of Pekin; father, Russell Towery of Cayuga, IN; sisters, Jade Curry of Pekin, Sky Towery of Cayuga, IN; brothers, Storm Towery of Cayuga, IN, Noah Towery of Cayuga, IN; grandparents, Vickie (Jerry) Schumm of Creve Coeur; grandfather, Vincent Ivey of Glasford; great grandfather, Charles Childs of Morton and several aunts and uncles. His grandparents, Peggy Childs, Herman Towery and Diana Towery preceded him in death. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eagles on Derby Street in Pekin.
