Obituary for Michael Barr
Michael Lee Barr, 54, of Canton, IL passed away and was promoted to glory on Sunday April 1, 2012 at his home. He was born March 11, 1958 in Washington, IA to Norman and Jane Miller Barr. He married Sheri Thollander on July 26, 1980 in LaGrange, IL. Surviving are his wife, Sheri of Canton, IL; three sons, Nathan of Canton, IL, Joshua (Laura) of Boynton Beach, FL and Jesse of Canton, IL; two brothers, Tim (Kris) Barr of Bellevue, IL and Doug (Michelle) Barr of Glasford, IL. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. A Pastor, he served at Canton Evangelical Free Church for the past twelve years. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at the Canton Evangelical Free Church on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at his church.
