Obituary for Michael Thurman
Michael L. Thurman, 62, of Toluca, IL passed away Tuesday April 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator, IL. He was born January 17, 1950 in Springfield, MO to George and Delores Elkins Thurman. He married Karen Logan July 1, 2000 in Peoria Heights, IL. She survives along with his daughter, April (Tim Paulsgrove) Wright; stepson, Chris (Melissa Logan) Jeffers; grandchildren, Bret and Dale Wright, Andrew and Mason Paulsgrove, Sheyenne, Domanick and Tabitha Jeffers and Elexis Logan. He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Thurman and niece and nephews, Jayson Cassidy, Jessi Cassidy, Randy Thurman and Tracy Cassidy. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Haylee Paulsgrove on October 14, 2011. Michael worked at Peoria Production Shop from 1998 to 2011. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Saturday April 14, 2012 at Putnam Christian Church on Rt. 29 in Putnam, IL at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to Autism Speaks in his name in honor of his grandchildren.
