Obituary for Michael Venzon
Michael Gene Venzon, 41, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Peoria. He was born November 3, 1971 in Peoria to Richard Lee and Peggy Jean Lovell Venzon. He married Debra Burnett March 12, 2013 in Peoria. She survives along with his father, Richard Venzon of Peoria; mother, Peggy Allen of Peoria; children, Andrew, Zach, Aaron, Kaylee, Olivia; brother, Scott (Lorri) Venzon of Peoria and sister, Dawn Venzon of Marquette Heights. Michael served in the U.S. Marines from 1991 to 1995. He worked for Westmont Interior Supply House Inc. for 13 years. He loved the outdoors and hunting. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial mass will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Sacre Coeur Catholic Church in Creve Coeur. Fr. Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
