Obituary for Michale Ulrich
At 3:00 a.m. On September 2, 2015 the world lost a great man in Michale James Ulrich Sr.. He was born and raised on the south side of Peoria where he made his home and raised his family. His family includes his wife Theresa A. Ulrich (Sutter), his daughter Michele Jump (Adam), his son Michale Ulrich (Erica), and his daughter Leslie Isonhart (Ryan). He also leaves behind his legacy in his grandchildren LeeRoy, Michale, Laney, Michale, Rylie, Lilly, and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Ulrich and Toni Borrelli and his brother Mitch Ulrich. He is survived by his siblings Harry (Cheryl) Ulrich, Deborah (Dave) Foster, Rick (Kathy) Ulrich, and Tracy (Kasey) Jones and many nieces and nephews. Mike served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was last employed as the general manager of Timberlake Country Club. Over the years he owned a handful of restaurants and bars. He worked at Bemis Bag Factory where he was elected the union president, he worked at R.A. Cullinan & Son as a teamster, he got his start in the food industry with Holiday Inns of America where he was an executive chef. Mike enjoyed family gatherings with lots of laughter, fishing & hunting, and loved spending time at home with his wife and dogs. A visitation will be held Saturday September 5, 2015 at Abts Mortuary 905 S. 5th St. Pekin, IL from 10am-12pm. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
