Obituary for Mildred Aby
Mildred Doris Aby, 95, of Pekin passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Hallmark House Nursing Home in Pekin. She was born July 2, 1922 in Pekin to Guido and Josephine Conti Mazzarelli. She married Charles Robert Aby October 4, 1947 in Pekin; he preceded her in death May 9, 1978. Her parents; great-grandson, Wesley Singleton; two sisters and one brother also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Marie Golden of Pekin and grandchildren, Karen (John) Calhoun of Pekin, Barb (Ken) Drake of Texas and Michael Golden of Pekin. Mildred graduated from Pekin Community High School. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude or the Salvation Army in her name.
