Obituary for Miriam J. Walker
Miriam J. Walker, 82, of Peoria passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 8, 1935 in Kohala, HI to Nicholas and Estrella Soares Caravalho. Her parents and brothers, Richard, Ronald, Nicholas, William and Robert preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Luanne (Mark) Carey, Lorianne (Kelly) Thomas, William (Ophelia) Walker; grandchildren, Alana (John) Scholl, Christopher (Erica) Schadegg, Steven (Joanna) Thomas, Dylan Walker, Derryk Walker, Kelleyanne (Justin) Dyresen; seven great-grandchildren and brothers, James Caravalho and Kenneth Caravalho. Miriam worked for Mervyn’s; retiring in 2009. She loved playing cards, spending time at the Mission San Luis Rey in California, the beach and everyone she met. Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
