Obituary for Nancy Hayes
Nancy K Hayes, 73, of Pekin, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 9:37pm at the OSF Hospital, in Peoria. She was born August 15, 1942, to George and Theda (Cobb) Lavely at Vincennes, Indiana. She married Thomas M Hayes on November 15, 1962, in Otwell, Indiana. Surviving are her husband, Thomas; sister, Judith (Larry) Harting of Columbus, Indiana; sons, Rick (Gilda) of Pekin, Larry (Judy) of Houston, Texas, Thomas Jr (Dawn) of Pekin; and grandchildren, Gerald Cotiangco of New York, New York, Erica Hayes of Fort Collins, Colorado, Joshua, Tyler and Larry Jr of Houston, Texas, and Devon and Tanner Hayes of Pekin. Nancy retired from Caterpillar in the late 90s. She loved playing lottery crosswords and bingo tickets, and playing games on her tablet and keeping in touch with family on Facebook. She will surely be missed.
