Obituary for Nellie Hanuski
Nellie M. Hanuski 67, of Pekin passed away Thursday July 14, 2011 at her home. She was born September 20, 1943 in Manila, AR to William Bryan and Bonnie L. Roberts. She married John W. Hanuski on April 15, 1978 in East Peoria. He preceded her in death in May of 2000, she was also preceded in death by 2 daughters. Surviving are 3 sons; Scott (Tara) Hanuski of Pekin, Danny (Chira) of Peoria, Jeff of Peoria, 3 daughters; Becky of Vermont, IL, Donna Martin of Indiana, Bonnie Sally, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters; Cheryl Blazovich of Pekin, Joanna McCabe of Deercreek, Mary Freeze of New Jersey and 2 brothers; Raymond Spainhour of Arkansas and Richard Bryan of Oregan. Nellie was a homemaker and loving housewife her whole life. She was of Baptist faith. Cremation has been accorded and her family will receive friends at New Attitudes Clubhouse in Mapleton, IL on Monday August 8, 2011 at 1:30 pm, going from there to Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria for a 3 pm Graveside service. Following the service there will be a memorial dinner at the New Attitudes Clubhouse. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
