Obituary for Nellie May
Nellie M. May 85 of Morton passed away Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Morton Terrace. She was born January 10, 1925 to Ira and Nora Hawkins Jasper in Pulaski County, KY. She married Samuel E. May October 22, 1944, he preceded her in death April 21, 2010. She is also preceded in death by her parents, son; Gerald May, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild. Nellie is survived by her daughters; Diana May of Peoria, Joyce (Ernie) Jackson of Rock Falls, son; Donald May of Peoria, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Peoria. A graveside service will be held Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 11am at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
