Obituary for Nicholas Tatro
Nicholas Mark Tatro, 22, of Mapleton, IL passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 16, 1990 in Monmouth, IL to Gregory Mark Tatro and Lori Fillman. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents and fraternal grandfather. He is survived by his mother, Lori (Martin) Eibeck of Peoria, IL; step-father, Larry (Beth) Wood of West Point, IL; dear friend, Christa Fuller of Mapleton, IL; sisters, Nicole (Travis) Broadfield of Pekin, IL, Megan Wood of West Point, IL; brother, Anthony (Christina) Wood of Marquette Heights, IL; nephews, Ryder Broadfield, Aiden Wood and Jacob Wood; grandmother, Linda Fredrickson of Morton, IL; aunt, Toni Tatro of Kirkwood, IL; uncle, Troy (Dawn) Tatro of Monmouth, IL and cousins, Katrina Tatro and Tara Tatro both of Monmouth, IL. Nicholas graduated from Illini Bluff High School in 2009 where he was on the wrestling team. He worked for Fort’s Toyota in North Pekin. He loved the outdoors and being with his family and friends. He attended the Bridgeway Church in Pekin. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 9, at 10 a.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin with visitation on Wednesday May 8, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Dale Scheafer will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton. Memorials may be made to the Illini Bluff High School wrestling team in his name.
