Obituary for Norma Welk
Norma Jean Welk, 75 of Peoria passed away peacefully on Sunday September 18, 2011 at her home with her children by her side. She was born October 4, 1935 in Peoria. She is survived by her 4 children, Carl Huff of Peoria, Danny Welk of Peoria, Becky (Larry) Wright of Peoria, Michelle (Terry) Lodwick of Davenport, IL, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olive and Harold Dearman, daughter, Renee, grandson, Justin and 2 great-grandchildren, Braylyn and Mariah. Norma worked at Armour’s, F.W. Means and retired from Bemis Bag Company. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Cremation has been accorded and a Chapel service will be held on Friday September 23, 2011 at Swan Lake Memory Garden in Peoria at 11 a.m.
