Obituary for Palma Baldi Bryant
Palma Baldi Bryant 71, of Pekin passed away on Monday June 8, 2009 at her residence. Born in Pekin on September 26, 1937, the daughter of James “Gino” and Virginia “Gin” Lowe Baldi. She is survived by her children; Crystal (Roger) Prouty of Vero Beach, FL, Dennis (Brenda) Delahunt of Bloomington, brothers; James “Jeff” (Joyce) Baldi of Morton, Steve (Terri) Baldi of Peoria, her 6 grand and 4 great grandchildren and her 8 nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband Joseph Moroz, son Michael Delahunt and brother Louie Baldi preceded her in death. Palma was a Manager at Gino’s Pioneer Supper Club and a Waitress at Pekin Hospital and Andy’s, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where a funeral mass will be held on Friday June 12, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Father Timothy Nolan will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following her service and burial of her cremains will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Center for Prevention of Abuse, P.O. Box 3855 Peoria, IL 61612-3855. Abts Mortuary has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.
