Obituary for Pamela R. Schlipf
Pamela R. Schlipf, 70, of Peoria passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born July 4, 1954, in Peoria to Benjamin and Lucille Noe Sutter. Her son Waylon Grant; three angel great-grandchildren; parents and brothers, Butch Sutter and Ivan Sutter preceded her in death.
Pamela married Mikel A. Schlipf on October 1, 1989, in Peoria; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Angela Pheasant, Windy Bachman, Donald (Karmin) Grant III, James Grant; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers.
She graduated from Manuel High School and volunteered at the South Side Mission.
Pamela loved her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Bible Church 2200 W. Nebraska Ave., Peoria, IL 61604 with visitation one hour prior at the church. Pastor Garry Geer will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery on W. Oak Hill Cemetery Road in Brimfield.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
