Obituary for Pat Linden
Pat Linden, 89, of Peoria passed away on January 9, 2015 at OSF Hospice Home after a short illness.
She was born on July 22, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Ed and Louise (Mullins) Howard. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Linden of St. Louis and Janet Linden of Albuquerque; a son Paul Linden of Oregon; grandsons Ryan Calaway, Ben Runkle, and Collin Linden; granddaughters, Alicia Linden and Natalie Davis; a great-granddaughter Tristen Calaway; a daughter and a son-in-law; sisters and brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Linden; her son, Bill Linden; her brother, Paul Mullins Howard; and her daughter-in-law, Sherri Linden.
Pat was a graduate of the University of Chicago. She was a world traveler and life-long learner. She belonged to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, bridge clubs, book clubs, The Stockinettes, and many other social and cultural groups.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service, Mass, and burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in the spring or early summer.
