Obituary for Patricia Sutton
Patricia J. Sutton, 77, of Pekin passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1937 in Pekin to Harold and Hazel Coddington Elliott. She married William A. Sutton February 2, 1957 in Pekin. He survives along with her children, Vickie (J.T.) Tarvin of Pekin, Sandra Brooks of Pekin, Mark (Jacque) Sutton of Groveland, Gary (Angie) Sutton of Pekin, Clint Fitzanko of Pekin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Barb) Elliott of Pekin, sisters, Lola Hamilton of Tremont, Jackie Davis of Pekin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen and brother, Kenny. Patricia worked for Pekin School District for many years retiring in 1999. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She never met a stranger. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Rev. Lauren Padgett will officiate. Memorials may be made to Illinois Heart Association in her name.
