Patrick James Mason Lohman Sr., 70, of Pekin passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on July 4, 1955, in Rock Island to Donald C. and Patricia J. Birrell Lohman. His parents; brothers, Donald Lohman Jr., Danny Lohman Sr., David Lohman; grandchild, Antonio and nephew, Bradley Cook preceded him in death.
Patrick is survived by his children, Patrick Lohman Jr., Ashley Lohman, Brock Lohman; grandchildren, Cole, Tahlia, David, Dominic, Chevy, Myaha, CJ, Ceauanna, Cerinity, Avalon, Abel, Annelle, Alyia, Autumn, Ameria; nieces and nephews, Danny (Tracy) Lohman, Dawn (Eric Nash) Verci, Dona Laney, Joseph Lohman, Cody (Amber) Lohman, Lesley (Greg Howard ) Cook-Howard and best friend, Jack Rivera.
He was a member of Laborers’ Local 231 and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Schlarman Council 210 in Pekin.
Patrick loved his family dearly and spending time with his cherished grandchildren and his Knights of Columbus brothers. He enjoyed racing stock cars and was an avid mechanic and skilled tradesman, owning his own concrete business for several years. In his later life he enjoyed doing puzzles and watching the Cardinals play. He was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinal and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where a memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. with the Knights of Columbus Chalice Presentation at 10:30 a.m. prior to the mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Patrick’s life immediately following the cemetery at Lake Whitehurst clubhouse 2120 Susan Hope Drive, Pekin, IL 61554.
Memorials may be made to his nephew, Danny Lohman 1304 Kennedy Drive, Pekin, IL 61554 for his grave marker fund, the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Schlarman Council 210 in Pekin or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin in his name.
